President to Inspect Fleet Review :-
Around 53 foreign navies confirmed their participation in the Indian Navy’s Fleet Review (IFR) scheduled for fed 4th to 8th and 24 of them would be sending, their ships and remaining would be either sending their delegation of their naval chief will attend the event. Australia would be sending its guided missile frigate – HMAS Darwin and bangladesh is also sending a frigate to be part of the fleet review. President of India Pranab Mukherjee will review the International Fleet, comprising over 75 frontline ships and submarines off Visakhapatnam on February 6th.
The Review Anchorage would have an awe-inspiring combination of naval warships from Indian Navy as well as frontline navies from across the globe. In addition, the ships of the Indian Coast Guard and Mercantile Marine would be participating. After a 21-gun salute and the ceremonial Guard of Honour, the President will embark the Presidential Yacht, Distinguishable by the Ashoka emblem and flying the President’s Standard on the Mast.
